From the Field to the Plate

The From the Field to the Plate cooking series is designed to make connections with where our food comes from and the art of preparing food and cooking.

The classes emphasize seasonal, farm-grown foods, and begin with a harvesting and grazing tour of the farm with the farmer and the guest chef.  The hands-on and educational tour is followed by a cooking demonstration class and ends with a healthy, and delicious shared meal.

Held at the farm's historic 1895 farmhouse, these cooking classes are held in collaboration with The Center for Sustainability and Adult Education at SBCC.
