Film Screening: Battlefields to Farmfields, Saturday July 13th 7pm

Within the next ten years, half of American farmers and ranchers are retiring. The USDA is calling for one million new farmers to fill the gap. At the same time, returning combat veterans are looking for a place to de-escalate from war and a challenging new mission of service to their country.
Agriculture’s problem is the veterans’ solution!

GROUND OPERATIONS is a social action campaign featuring a documentary film
and national tour. Our goal is to strengthen the veterans-in-agriculture network and
increase their resources, so that they can create healthy new lives for themselves
and food security for America.
